Meg Curtis

Meg Curtis, owner of Stonewall Farm Bed & Breakfast, joined the Chamber's Board of Directors in 2003 & currently serves on the Executive Board. Meg is an innkeeper and owner of Stonewall Farm Bed & Breakfast on Windsor Road. Meg enjoys entertaining family, friends and guests at the farm and is able to pursue her love of people, decorating, cooking, and entertaining--all within her job description of inn keeping. The B&B has received many accolades since it's inception: 1999 Editor's Pick, Yankee Magazine; 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 Arrington's B&B Journal awards of "Best in the North", "Friendliest Staff", & "Best Breakfast in New England". Meg is passionate about finding a cure of Alzheimer's Disease and travels all over New England to raise awareness about the disease. She has established the Skip Curtis Memorial Fund for Alzheimer's Disease Research at Boston University in memory of her husband and partner.

Jim Bailey


Jim Bailey started James C. Bailey, III Home Improvements in 1987 and has been in the carpentry business for 40 years. He and his wife, Adrienne, have lived in Hillsborough for 31 years and have raised 4 children there. He is an active community volunteer, currently serving the community through the Hillsborough Park Board, Lions Club, Zoning Board and the Friends of the Hillcats. Jim’s efforts to serve the community have earned him recognition as the Chamber’s Business of the year in 2005 and the American Red Cross 2010 Hero Award for recognition of his outstanding humanitarian service in rebuilding the town’s community food pantry. Jim has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 1994, and he is a member of the Executive Commitee.

Jim Long

Jim Long serves on the Chamber's Executive Committe and is a financial investment advisor. He operates the Edward Jones office on West Main Street in Hillsborough.

Marc Violette

Marc Violette has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1997. Marc represents TDS Telecom where he has been employed since 1981. Marc has held numerous positions with TDS Telecom/MCT Telecom and is currently Regional – Market Manager, NH, ME, NY, PA & VT. While on the Board, Marc has served as Chairman of the Chamber’s Scholarship Golf Tournament and also on the Executive Committee.

Mr. Violette currently serves on a number of Chamber of Commerce Boards throughout NH and is very active with several Telecom Associations throughout New England. Marc also served on the Town of Warner Budget Committee for 10 years.

Marc resides in Warner, NH with his wife Deb and his son Ryan, a senior at Kearsarge Regional HS. Marc’s daughter Lauren is a Junior at Mass. College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Boston, MA.

Deborah DeScenza

Deborah DeScenza earned her B.S. from Gordon College in Elementary Education in 1978 and her M.Ed. from the University of Virginia in 1979. She taught and coordinated special education programs for nearly 20 years, specializing in working with adolescents who had emotional handicaps. In the 1990’s she attended Boston University, completing the coursework towards her doctorate in Special Education Administration. In 2000 she founded Farmsteads of New England, Inc. (FNE) as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation with the mission of providing a satisfying and meaningful life in a farming environment for adults who have autism and other developmental disabilities. In 2003 FNE purchased the historic Rosewald Farm in Hillsborough, NH and started providing both day and residential services there. FNE began duplicating the model DeScenza developed by starting to provide day services at a second site in Epping, NH in 2009. FNE was awarded Hillsborough’s Business of the Year for 2009 for its contributions to the Hillsborough community. FNE currently employs over 70 people in the Hillsborough area. Deborah DeScenza was also awarded the Audrey I Horne Award in 2011 by the Autism Society of America for her contributions to improving the lives of all affected by autism.

Stephen Neuhoff

Steve Neuhoff is the manager of Hillsborough office of the Sovereign Bank and a former President of the Chamber's Board of Directors and currently heads up the Chamber's Membership Committee.

Steve Venezia

Steve Venezia is an attorney at Upton & Hatfield in Hillsborough. He also practices out of the firm's Concord office. He focuses on litigation, real estate, and general business transactions in the Hillsborough office and commercial and real estate transactions and business planning in the Concord office. Steve grew up in Billerica, Massachusetts and graduated from Northeastern University School of Law and also received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University. After accepting a job with Upton & Hatfield, Steve and his wife, Amanda, moved to Hillsborough in January 2010. Amanda serves as the Director of Food Services for the Hillsborough-Deering school system. Steve is bringing many new and exciting ideas to the Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce and hopes the Chamber can help develop the business community in Hillsborough and also develop relationships with the townspeople so Hillsborough can continue to grow and prosper. Steve is an avid Boston sports fan, so if you see him in town, don't hesitate to strike up a conversation about the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, or Celtics, or any other topic that may be on your mind.

Barry McFarland

Barry McFarland lives in Hillsborough with his wife Kathye. He can be found most day in his studio at Finicky Framing on West Main Street, where he crafts heirloom quality frames for his customers.

Patty Parenteau

Patty Parenteau is the Director of Special Students Services for SAU #34, including the school districts of Hillsboro-Deering, Washington and Windsor. Patty is filling in on the Board while the SAU conducts its search for a full-time superintendent of schools, and she does a wonderful job as the Chamber's liaison to our community school system.
