Business After Hours
Networking is the number one advantage cited by Chamber members as key to marketing and getting their business known throughout their town, region, state, and beyond. The Greater Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce holds regular Business After Hours hosted by different members each month. Everyone, member or non-member alike, is welcome to attend.
Business After Hours is held on the third Wednesday of every month. Drop in any time between the hours of 5:30 to 7:00 pm. In April, the Chamber usually holds its annual meeting instead of a Business After Hours event.
When you come to a Business After Hours, bring your business card for a free raffle and a little cash for the 50-50 Scholarship fund raffle.

Creating a Successful Business After Hours
Step 1: Contact our Business After Hours Coordinator to schedule the month you would like to host. Please fill out the form to the left to connect.
Step 2: Plan your event. A month in advance of the BAH, send the Chamber your logo, pictures, and a paragraph about your business. In rare instances, directions may be needed also. In many cases we can send something out without information from you, but more information can help.
Step 3: Publish the date and time of the event through your social media and friends network. We will be doing the same for you. We love to see new people at our events and the community-at-large is always welcome in addition to members of the Chamber.
Step 4: Hosting an event is fun. Help your business to shine by getting information out that people can pick up. Also, you have the floor during the events, so plan a short presentation about your business. Off the cuff is fine. The presentations given are almost always informally given. As the host or hostess, you are responsible for the food and beverages and also a door prize.
